Inside the new i20, the things that are there on this model are Creta inspired steering wheel and instead of offering an 8-inch touchscreen, there is a new 10.25-inch touchscreen that is paired to a 7 speaker sound system by Bose. The instrument cluster is now a fully digital console that is being inspired by the Hyundai Verna. Many segmented features like air purifier, wireless charging, electric sunroof and also the bluelink Connected car technology with several connectivity features are also there on the offer but still safety will be a question for many people and for that the i20 is made up of advanced high strength steel which now got 13 per cent more rigid and safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, TPMS, etc. The connected car tech on the i20 also helps in navigation during driving.

Instead of just focussing on the families only the Hyundai i20 2020 new model is now introduced with a new turbo petrol engine that generates 120 BHP of power and 172 NM of torque and comes mated to intelligent manual transmission as well as a DCT for the enthusiasts whereas the 1.2 petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine gets both the option of a Pure manual and an automatic but the diesel gets torque converter and 1.2 petrol is paired to a CVT transmission. All the engines in the new i20 are BS6 compliant that also includes the diesel engine also as Venue's 1.5 diesel engine is offered in I20 making it BS6 compliant. Earlier in previous generation, only petrol was BS6 but now Hyundai made all engines BS6 complaint as per emerging BS6 norms in the month of April.

The price at which the new i20 is being introduced starts at 6.70 lacs ex-showroom and goes till 11.18 lacs ex-showroom for the turbo petrol DCT.
