Alloy wheels offer the same design that the super variant used to offer since it's launch. The 18-inch ones on the smart and sharp are surely better anyday in looks however these are also decent as per the pricing. Side profile remains the same however being an automatic, this variant offers keyless entry on which manual trim lacks.

Features like android auto and apply car play are offered with the touchscreen system which appears to be larger in size. All the connected car features which the Hector offers are reserved only for smart and sharp variants. Instrument cluster features analog unit with digital display in between which does look great. One thing that family buyers will appreciate is the well cushioned seats that have great comfort to be offered on the front. Visibility is great from the windshield that helps in better focus on the roads.

The MG Hector Shine do feature fabric seats however seat covers can be installed from the dealership. Windows are large on size and the cabin overall doesn't feel claustrophobic. There is also ample amount of headroom and legroom on the offer with the car that makes it a perfect car for highway trips. India is a sunroof oriented market and of course electric sunroof is offered in shine variant. The higher trim Sharp gets Panoramic sunroof but electric Sunroof on offer still makes it a great package.

The MG Hector Shine comes with both petrol and diesel powertrains where diesel is an enthusiast's delight. The 1.5-petrol motor offered in the car doesn't have great performance due to less power to weight ratio. It's just a machine oriented towards refinement and regular day driving. Go for a manual if you love shifting gears otherwise CVT is better for your traffic rides in city. The CVT may affect performance but it's a great choice for driving at low speeds without compromise on fuel efficiency.

The standard safety features which the Hector offers like Traction control, Electronic Stability control, etc. are just great as safety is a concern for many buyers. There are no side airbags but surely dual airbags are offered. With many other aspects, safety is surely something that adds value to the car and the buyers and the Hector overall did great job in many aspects.
