One of the thing that the Toyota Glanza facelift will get is surely the update in built quality. The older Toyota Glanza didn't had much better build quality but surely there would be a minor improvement in the build quality by increasing weight. There would be no change in the platform as the new Glanza will still carry forward the old heartect platform. Design is very great as per leaked image when it's compared to the New Baleno. The front design gets a grille that is very much inspired from the Toyota Camry. Alloy wheels with dual tone finishing also look very much catchy. Other than minor changes, there would be no changes in features.
The interior will come with dual tone combination unlike Baleno which would give it a premium appeal. Other than dashboard colour combination, the Glanza will have no mechanical changes and will carry forward all features of Baleno. Toyota badging would replace the Suzuki badging in the infotainment and the steering wheel.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the 1.2-liter dualjet petrol engine with a tune of 88.5 BHP of power and 113 NM of torque which comes mated to 5 speed manual. There would be no CVT on offer as it's being officially dropped in Baleno and same case would be there with the Glanza. The petrol engine would be mated to an AMT gearbox which will keep the cost very much low. Toyota is expected to offer the rebadged Baleno with an extra year of warranty over Suzuki counterpart. Rest of the details related to pricing will be out when it will be officially launched on 15 March 2022.
