KTM Duke 200 BS6 Personal Review

 The naked motorcycles which look sportier by nature just attract a lot of attention. There are several 200cc motorcycles that are available in the market but in India, the best 200cc motorcycle can surely be a KTM Duke 200. As per a personal experience, here is real life review of the KTM Duke 200 BS6 that has a lot of attention to be grabbed.

The KTM Duke 200 BS6 is without any doubt a motorcycle that surely grabs a lot of attention. Looks of the older KTM Duke 200 just doesn't have any comparison with new one because new one is just very much striking by it's design. LED DRLs on this motorcycle attracts much more attention which were earlier not present on the older model. If one is recommended to pick a suitable shade then surely orange with black is stellar because black is the colour of attraction in a vehicle. White shade is also available and that's also not a bad option but personally we would pick the black one amongst the option available in the lineup.

Looks are just insane than before when compared older KTM Duke 200

Fuel tank on the KTM Duke 200 BS6 is on an aggressive looking side and if course the graphics on the bike are very well integrated. This machine is just very much something that surely reminds people about a higher capacity and powerful superbike. Framework that is used has helped in maintaining a better shape and design of the bike. Alloy wheels in orange shade are anyday better than some other colour which didn't make it look that great the way it looks.

The LED taillight on the KTM Duke 200 BS6 is just great

There is nothing major to talk about the rear end except for the taillight that gets an option of LED and of course LED taillights do have a great impression.

Riding and ergonomics

Riding is on a very much comfortable side

  

The things that one would like about Dukes is of course it's riding comfort and here KTM Duke 200 has a lot of satisfaction in rider comfort. Seat of the bike is on a comfortable side due to the cushioning a rider gets will riding this beast. Riding posture is also on a comfortable side as the handlebar is positioned upward due to which lying down while riding is not required. Instrument cluster is borrowed from the BS4 Duke 390 due to which it looks decent. Electronics are not very much on offer but for safety, surely Dual channel ABS is available and of course nothing much in features. 

KTM Duke 200 BS6 performance

The KTM Duke 200 BS6 is not as faster as the BS4 model and engine is not something that sounds sportier very much like before. It's still something that doesn't have direct competition so not very much to complaint about the performance. KTM surely makes higher revving engines but of course, heating issues and new emission norms also required focus so reducing power can be understood. Rest it's great to know that KTM worked on the heating issues by a little focus on managing the specifications.

Is the KTM Duke 200 BS6 worth buying?

The KTM Duke 200 BS6 is still a machine that is worth buying as it doesn't any direct competition in terms of price. It's something that is great for very much tiring rides and a perfect thing for young bike lovers who love sporty looking bikes. Those who are already owning BS4 version should stick to that for performance on offer as BS6 would have better design language but less performance.
