Hyundai has launched the 2023 Hyundai Verna in India. This car competed with the cars like Honda City, Skoda Slavia and the Volkswagen Virtus. Want to know why to consider the new generation of the Verna? Here are the reasons to consider the premium sedan.
1. 2023 Hyundai Verna Space
The new Verna is a spacious sedan that has better cabin space in the rear. Those people who have average height can sit comfortably. There is no chance that a person would feel claustrophobic inside the car. Due to better space, one can get themselves chauffeur driven in the Verna.
2. 2023 Hyundai Verna features
Just don't count on the features of the sedan. It has a large chunk of features on offer. Hyundai has added a lot of features like a 10.25-inches touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster and also ADAS. You heard it right the new Hyundai Verna now gets ADAS on the higher variants. The functions of ADAS include Autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, Blind Spot Monitoring system, etc. These Autonomous features work flawlessly well on the new Verna. The 10.25-inch touchscreen works very well on the car. Another cool feature of the car is the Bose Sound system which has amazing sound quality.
3. Massive Boot Space on offer
There is no tension in carrying luggage as the new Verna gets 520 litres of boot space. Having a massive boot space will act help carry luggage during long-distance travels.
4. Standard 6-airbags
Having 6 airbags as a standard feature is not mandatory on many cars. The new Verna also gets 6 airbags as a standard feature on offer. This is a great move by Hyundai in safety. It would be exciting to know what would be the NCAP rating for the new Hyundai Verna.
5. Performance of the Turbo
Hyundai offers two engine options including 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a Naturally Aspirated 1.5-litre unit. Driving the turbocharged engine with a DCT feels very enthusiastic. The DCT gearbox is very much smooth and doesn't feel jerky. Any person who is a car enthusiast should get the turbo as it has crazy performance. Just push it a little harder and then the turbo engine starts to spool up. The turbo indeed takes its sweet time to spool up but it's crazy at higher RPMs.
6. Ride and Handling
It could have been better if the steering has some more feel and feedback at higher speeds. The steering wheel otherwise feels very lighter at city speeds. This sedan has a balanced ride and handling on offer due to which one would not get to feel potholes. The body roll is also very well contained due to which there is some confidence pushing it a little harder.
