Toyota Urban cruiser v Maruti Brezza

Observing the foreign Automotive sectors India is the 4th largest Automobile market in the world.In this whole Indian Automobile industry Toyota is one of the companies in India which is considered to be reliable and the the company which develops safe cars for several families.However talking about their Glanza it was actually not any new product from their side because after their partnership with Maruti Suzuki in Indiat are Rebadging cars Which also comes under Maruti's portfolio.Glanza is an exception in Toyota's portfolio in terms of safety because it uses Same HEARTECT platform by Maruti Suzuki that is not considered much safe.Same would be the case with Vitara Brezza also which will not get any mild changes except some of the changes in comparison to Brezza.

Any major changes in Urban cruiser??

Vitara Brezza had received an update in some of the cosmetics and also get a 1.5 petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission and a 4 speed automatic witha an option of a hybrid system.We can expect Toyota India to offer a hybrid system in the manual transmission for enhancing it's fuel efficiency.There would be no changes in Body structure and will be again based on TECT platform which is Maruti's safe platform.Urban Cruiser is expected to get a new front grille with Toyota badging which could be seen everywhere in car instead of Suzuki badging.Instead of some major changes Toyota will offer this car with 3-4 years warranty which would be more than Suzuki's warranty package.

Does it make any sense for buyer??

For improving sales figure only Toyota has Rebadged Maruti's cars only and like the Glanza there would no major changes in Toyota's Rebadged Brezza.Instead if they have launched the Raize or the Yaris cross then definitely a buyer will get a nice option.Just for sales Rebadging other Brand's car doesn't make any sense because this will create too much confusion for buyers and just for an extra year warranty considering Rebadged with no changes doesn't make any sense for it's waiting.However if the manual transmission gets a mild hybrid system then still it could be considered as an option to a buyer otherwise it's better to go for Vitara Brezza if you want to quickly buy a car as soon as possible.
