Toyota was well known for its cars like the Fortuner and the Innova that were great products in India. Reliability and resale are two things in which its products have excelled. Toyota Yaris Exterior

The front end isn't as appealing as Honda City but better than facelifted Verna

The headlights lack LED DRLs that are present in top variants. Projector headlamps are a standard feature on the car which is a great thing for visibility on highways. In terms of appeal, it is better than Verna from the front but the new Honda City looks more appealing.

The alloy wheels on the car are absolutely mind-boggling than before

The Toyota Yaris G gets absolutely mind-boggling alloy wheels which were earlier absent in this variant. It's very appealing in a way that a modern car lover will develop a crush because of its looks.

There are no LEDs on offer in the G variant

The rear profile of the car is decent however the top variants are more appealing due to the presence of LEDs on headlamps and tail lamps.

Toyota Yaris Interior

The interior is stellar but could have been better

The Yaris has a very modern interior which gives the feeling of Dudhsagar falls in Goa. It lacks an infotainment system due to which there is no value added to its premium in which a person can buy this variant. There is an automatic climate control present on the car that is helpful in the summer season.

Rear seat space is any day better than Verna

This car is any day better than Hyundai Verna because of the rear seat comfort and larger windows. There is no claustrophobic feeling inside the rear due to decent legroom and headroom on the offer. In terms of comfort, this is a perfect family car after Honda City.

Toyota Yaris Performance

If the 1.5-liter petrol engine compared on paper, the Yaris offers decent performance in comparison to other competitors as it is more oriented towards families. There is an option of manual in the G  variant. If a manual was also there in the top model, it was a quite appreciative thing as a manual is thrilling on highways. The power to weight ratio is better than naturally aspirated Verna petrol resulting in better performance. It's not better than Honda City petrol due to which it cannot be called unmatched in performance.

Toyota Yaris Price

The variant reviewed here starts from 9.99 lacs according to the Ex-showroom price in Gurgaon which will vary according to body shade and transmission options.
