Since the Tata Altroz was being launched in India to compete with the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Baleno, etc. there was one disadvantage about the hatchback car that was the 1.2-litre revotron engine that delivered decent fuel efficiency but it has not offered any professional performance due to which many enthusiasts were disappointed and diesel became a preference for them however Tata motors has considered that there will also be a turbo petrol engine on the offer to attract enthusiasts.
A document leaked by Autowhizz has revealed the prices of the Tata Altroz turbo petrol engine which will come in four variants of the Tata Altroz.
The Tata Altroz turbo petrol is expected to start from 7.99 lacs ex-showroom for the second top variant with a turbo petrol engine and would be going up to 8.75 lacs for the top end turbo petrol variant. Recently there is only 1.2 NA petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine on the offer but for enthusiasts, there will be 1.2-litre turbo petrol also on the offer that will generate nearly 100PS of power and 140NM of torque. This car is expected to also feature a 6-speed manual and will also come with sport and eco modes as expected instead of the city mode. Rest all the features of the Tata Altroz remains the same except cosmetics that could be a little different. For the launch the turbo petrol it would be most probably by Diwali.
