In partnership with the largest car manufacturer in India, Toyota had rolled out the Toyota Glanza in the Indian market for better sales in comparison to the other competitors which is actually the Maruti Baleno with a Toyota Badging and uses the same platform as the Baleno.

There is no denying the fact the Toyota Glanza is actually a rebadged Baleno but still, the car has a great styling characteristic with a stylish front grille as an offering, and features, like LED headlamps with DRLs, are also being offered with the car. Fog lamps are a standard fitment so overall no problem would be there while driving in foggy conditions during the night.

The design of the Glanza has not experienced any major changes in comparison with the Baleno because the alloy wheels that are offered with the car are similar to the Baleno except for the Toyota badges that are there on the wheel caps. In terms of styling, this car looks way better than the Elite i20 that is being offered in India in terms of looks.

The rear of the Toyota Glanza has not yet experienced any change in the looks except the Toyota's nomenclature as there is a change in the name of variants of the car. Instead of badging the Baleno name, there is Glanza written on the back of the car with again a Toyota badge at the back. Whether it is a Glanza or a Baleno but the rear taillamps still look absolutely mind-boggling on the car.

On the outside, the Toyota Glanza appears to be a very small car but on the inside, the cabin is very comfortable and spacious in a way that all the passengers in the car will feel very comfortable traveling around the cities. The steering wheel has a Toyota badge on the offer instead of the Suzuki badge which also appears on the infotainment system while turning on the car.

In the rear seat, there is a great amount of support for thighs are there if a person is 5.8 inches tall. The overall cabin of the car does not feel like sitting in a very tight area due to the ample amount of headroom and the legroom on the offer in a way that 5 passengers can be easily accommodated. Several features like the touchscreen system, keyless go, electrochromic IRVM, etc. are also present for extra convenience that is offered on the car.
Toyota Glanza performance
The Toyota Glanza comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine on the offer that produces 82 PS of power and 113 NM of torque that comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. If a person opts for the mild-hybrid then there would be some extra punch that would be offered from the engine but being a comfortable hatchback to drive it has great refinement but however, a little bit of bounciness was present on the car. Fuel efficiency in the cities will be nearly 15-16 Kilometre per liter and on highways, 17-18 kilometers per liter will be produced by the engine.
Toyota Glanza safety
In terms of offering the safety features, Maruti did a good job before rebranding the car because standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, etc. are there on the offer. The Glanza is based on Suzuki's HEARTECT platform however the car was on a lighter side and in terms of build, it could have been better because cars like Tata Altroz and Polo did a very great job in the segment.
