Yamaha has recently unveiled a new track bike Yamaha R7 which is expected to be successor of the Yamaha R6. It's just sportier and aggressive by design. If you are interested in gathering information then do keep reading here.

You might be thinking the the Yamaha R7 gets a next generation but that's not the truth as the new R7 will take it's cues from the Yamaha MT07.

It will launch in European and US markets

The designing is inspired from the R series biked like the Yamaha YZF-R1. In the centre, Bi-functional LEDs are being used by the intake duct at the centre. This machine is purely focused towards aerodynamics and sportier riding that can be observed. There are not many electronics that are available like ride modes and some of the stuff which would have been great but there is an option of slip and assist clutch and of course quickshifter is also available as an accessory but it supports fast upshifting only.
In terms of bodywork, the bike supports 41mm USD forks and adjustable rear monoshocks are at the rear. For gripping on road , 17-inch Battlax hypersport tyres by  Bridgestone perform the duty. Engine option will remain same as the Yamaha MT07 as a 689cc motor will be offered and it will generate 73.4 PS power and 67 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to 6-speed manual gearbox. It's not confirmed for Indian market and in international markets, it will compete with Aprillia RS660 and Honda CBR650R.
